• Has Animoca had a change of heart? The Hong Kong-based blockchain game maker and venture capitalist, has scaled down the target amount for its web 3.0 and metaverse investment fund to US$1 billion from the initial goal of up to US$2 billion

• Leveraging crypto technology to reward users for the fitness work they do, Fight Out has raised $2.58 million from hungry investors.

• Com2verse attracts investment of $9.4 million from strategic partners. The company plans to build metaverse businesses with Hana Financial Group, Kyobo Book and Kyowon Group.

• Gaming accounted for 62% as web3 startups raised $7.1B in funding during 2022. Gaming collected the largest amount at $4.49 billion, followed by Metaverse with $1.8 billion and Social Networks with $259.1 million.
