Web3 games are not accepted as normal

Gods Unchained, on Immutable, was declared "Adults Only" by the ESRB and removed from the Epic Games Store. The game's play-and-earn, crypto and NFT principles earned this unusual rating. The ESRB's "Adults Only" rating is usually reserved for excessive violence or sexual content within a game - something that Gods Unchained does not have. The game's developer, Immutable, is fighting the ESRB's decision, with a view to change how blockchain games are seen and controlled. This situation shows the continued challenge of incorporating blockchain technology into conventional gaming platforms. Traditional gaming platforms are clearly hesitant about blockchain integration, showcasing that web3 games are not accepted and a divide still exists.
